Cleveland Clinic Expansion in Florida

The Cleveland Clinic disclosed earnings of $21.5 million in 2009, up from $5.5 million the year before.


The report to bondholders by parent Cleveland Clinic Health System noted that the nonprofit, which operates multiple hospitals, earned $719.8 million on revenue of $5.6 billion last year.
At Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, revenue increased to $333 million from $302.4 million in 2008.
In May, Cleveland Clinic plans to start construction on a 9,750-square-foot expansion of its offices in West Palm Beach’s CityPlace Tower. It occupies 16,840 square feet and has 45 employees there
The expansion will include 20 more employees, with added space for internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, sports medicine and diagnostic testing.
